Varenkor burs can be used by those working in the lapidary and jewelry fields, gem carvers, and dental laboratories. All burs are safe for dental use, have a non-contaminating matrix, so will not contaminate porcelain or the prepped metal. They can be used for grinding and prepping porcelain metals.
Each bur series is color coded: 1400-Dark Blue; 1600-Black; 1700-Blue; 1800-White; 2100-Green; 2400-No Color; 2500-Gray; 2700-Yellow; 2800-Red; 2900-Purple. Each series also has a different size and cutting characteristic.
